The SAGA Grants program will continue to support chapters in presenting workshops with teachers of SAGA approved classes in the coming year.

The SAGA Board of Directors has authorized funds for 10 grants at $300 each for the 2014 calendar year. Two grants will be available in each region to chapters that meet the requirements and submit the application. The Board also authorized an additional $3000 for 5 grants at $600 each to be awarded to as Strategic Growth Grants. These are intended for smaller chapters and those that have limited resources.

Applications for grants for 2014 will be accepted beginning June 1, 2013. New applications and guidelines will be on here beginning May 15, 2013. Guidelines for the Strategic Growth Grants will also be listed in a new section.

Consider a workshop for 2014 now. All interested chapters are encouraged to apply. Lisa Reidland, vicepresident@smocking.org will be available to answer any questions and guide you through the process.
